Start and stop time is from the time an application is first reviewed until the time that the loan agreement is in place and payment has been made to landlord/utility company. Do not include wait time, such as time spent waiting for documents to be submitted

FOURTH QUARTER – OUTPUTS (JAN – MAR 2022)

Any contact made with the rent bank (by an individual or an agency on their behalf) via phone, email, or in-person, specifically seeking to access rent bank services, or to understand if rent bank services are appropriate for that individual.
A pre-assessment is the shared online version or the completed PDF paper version. IMPORTANT: If an applicant submits duplicate or multiple submissions which are nullified by either having them deleted or merged, please do not record the extra submission.
Any application for a loan, grant, or loan/grant combination should be recorded as an “application submitted”.
A loan being approved includes the loan agreement being signed and payment being issued. Include the total number of loans issued through BC Rent Bank programming
Total number of individuals impacted by approved loans. Include all adult and minor members of the household that benefit from the approved loan.
A supplementary support is a service such as advocacy, mediation, tenancy rights, assistance applying for benefits, food/clothing provision, and counselling services. “In-house” means any service provided by your rent bank or any other program housed at your organization. e.g internal referral to HPP, HOP, etc. Record the number of people who received supplementary supports, not the number of supports provided per individual.

Report on all grants distribruted – regardless of funding source. Enter “0” for each answer if this section does not apply to your rent bank.
Total number of grants approved for housing and essential utilities (gas and hydro).
Total number of individuals impacted by the grants issued. Include all adult and minor members of the household that benefit from the approved grant.
Total number of loan/grant combinations approved for housing and essential utilities.
Total number of individuals impacted by the loan/grant combinations issued. Include all adult and minor members of the household that benefit from the approved loan/grant.
Includes grants for expenses such as technology, basic needs (food, hygiene, cleaning supplies) and grocery cards, or other goods/services that contribute to housing stability. Include all grants accessed and administered through BC Rent Bank programming, regardless of the funder.
Total number of individuals who benefited from the grant; include all members of the household who benefit from the approved grant.
Calculation: $ received/$ expected to be repaid X 100 = ____%. NOTE: If a loan is deferred then it is not expected to be repaid that month; only include payment you expected in your calculation.
