There is increasing interest in developing rent banks in BC and across Canada. The resources shared here were developed in partnership with Vancity Credit Union to support the development of new rent banks. These resources reflect the provincial model developed in British Columbia between 2019-2022. We encourage you to see these as promising practices, not best practices, as the program continues to evolve and adapt in response to the needs in the renter market.
